St. James offers a tour of the various sites of historical importance in the life of our current parish community.

About The Event
As part of the activities funded through the Lilly Foundation Grant for Fr. George’s sabbatical, St. James offers a tour of the various sites of importance in the life of our current parish community. On Saturday, September 28th beginning at 3 p.m., the bus tour will visit the following sites:
• Noah Wallace School – site of first meeting place for St. James Mission
• The Chapel of the Mission – current site of Village Store on Mill Lane
• The Unionville Museum (tentative) – short history presentation on relationship between Christ Church, Unionville and St. James Mission
• Christ Church, Avon (tentative) – former church from which many current St. James parishioners originated.
The tour will end back at St. James for a brief concluding presentation, followed by the celebratory dinner and welcoming back of Father George. If you are interested in participating in the bus tour, please sign up on the sheet located in the parish hall. Be advised that bus seats are limited.
