St. James Episcopal Church is located in the center of Farmington just off Main Street (Route 10) at 3 Mountain Road. It is surrounded by historic buildings, many of which are part of Miss Porter’s School. Parking is available at the rear of the church building. Street parking is only permissible on weekends. Parking is also available at the elementary school across Mountain Road. The main level of the church is wheelchair accessible using a ramp to the right of the front doors to the church. The lower level, which contains meeting rooms, a library, and kitchen, is accessible through a door from the rear parking lot.

St. James provides information to its parishioners several ways.
The Sunday bulletin provided during our services offers weekly announcements about parish life.
Weekly, or as needed with "breaking news," information is sent electronically by an e-flash.
Throughout the year a monthly newsletter called Epistle is published. Epistle is distributed electronically or, if requested, by hard copy.
