About The Event
All are invited to enjoy pizza, salad, popcorn, and goodies in the parish hall, as we watch the faith-based movie The Jesus Revolution. The film follows the beginnings of the Jesus movement in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s, as the movement emerges from the counter-cultural “hippie” movement. The film is a powerful (without being preachy) exploration of what it means to find one’s purpose in Jesus Christ. The film is rated PG-13, mostly for drug content (though nothing extreme, I promise). Probably children 11 and up? The movie will be followed by conversation. Let us know by October 4th if you want/plan to come but need childcare.
