Newcomer's Meet, Greet & Eat

One of the greatest blessings we have in church life is welcoming new people to the fold: fresh faces and spirits to know, love, and grow with on this Christian journey. Your Vestry would like to invite you to a special afternoon of blessing as we hold, for the first time in anyone’s memory, a Newcomers’ Meet Greet & Eat. On Sunday, November 12th, from 4–5:30 pm, we will host all those who have joined St. James Parish in the last five years. We will offer heavy hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and a lot of warm conversation beginning at 4 pm. Then at 5 pm, anyone who wishes to go on a tour of the physical plant will be encouraged to do so. Many folks may not know the stories behind our mural, our altar, etc., so it may be a time of learning and conversation. All are invited, not just newcomers, and we hope all who are able will join us to welcome people who are “newer” to St. James, which is a celebration of St. James Parish itself.
