Newcomer's Meet, Greet & Eat

One of the greatest blessings we have in church life is welcoming new people to the fold: fresh faces and spirits to know, love, and grow with on this Christian journey. Your Vestry would like to invite you to a special afternoon of blessing as we hold, for the first time in anyone’s memory, a Newcomers’ Meet Greet & Eat. On Sunday, November 12th, from 4–5:30 pm, we will host all those who have joined St. James Parish in the last five years. We will offer heavy hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and a lot of warm conversation beginning at 4 pm. Then at 5 pm, anyone who wishes to go on a tour of the physical plant will be encouraged to do so. Many folks may not know the stories behind our mural, our altar, etc., so it may be a time of learning and conversation. All are invited, not just…
