About The Event
On Sunday, June 23, we will have a special breakfast in the parish hall at 9 am (note the special time); some of the food we enjoy together will be catered. Following breakfast we will gather outside on our front lawn to plant our “Zacchaeus” sycamore tree, as members bring dirt from their yards to share in the planting. Our Sunday liturgy will commence at 10 am (special time) as we say farewell to Fr. George and his family for a period of three months, as he begins a time of sabbatical. The parish was awarded a Lilly Foundation Clergy and Congregational Renewal Grant for the purpose of sabbatical. The parish, during the month of September, for our part of sabbatical, will engage in a series of storytelling workshops led by professional storyteller and facilitator, The Rev. Cindy Maybeck. More on the workshops in the coming months!
