About The Event
Lent begins with the story of Jesus being driven into the wilderness by the Spirit. What wilderness does God call us to enter, and what will we hear? How will we be changed by this wilderness? This Lent we will listen to the voices of those who have been incarcerated and involved in the U.S. prison system. How will we be changed? How will God call us to follow? Join us for 5 nights of reflection on scripture, listening, and sharing as we journey through this Lenten season. We will meet March Mondays –at First Church, Farmington, to have a light supper at 6 p.m. with our discussion beginning at 6:30. On Monday, the 23rd, we will gather at 7 p.m. at Taprock in Unionville to continue our conversation there.
