Celebrating St. Nicholas Day

We commemorate the Feast Day of St. Nicholas of Myra, a Bishop from the 4th century who became synonymous with giving, especially to the poor, and even more so to children. We will be learning more about St. Nicholas on the 2nd and will even have a visit from St. Nicholas himself. We will begin collecting donations in honor of St. Nicholas that will go to our friends in the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem and the work that they do in hospitals, clinics, and schools throughout the Holy Land (not only in Israel-Palestine). We will have an ingathering of the contributions when we celebrate Epiphany in early January!
