Welcome to the online home of St. James Episcopal Church in Farmington, Connecticut. St. James has enjoyed a significant role in the life of this colonial New England town since 1873, and the unique beauty of our present sanctuary has graced the lower end of Mountain Road since 1898.

If you are church shopping, I invite you to explore this website, where you will find data about the history of our parish as well as information concerning our current programs and activities. You may contact us if you wish, to ask questions or to request membership and send us pertinent information about yourself and your family.

Members of St. James will find this site extremely helpful in keeping up-to-date on scheduling, current activities, and the latest news within our parish family. We also hope you will find it a convenient vehicle for communicating directly with individual staff members, wardens and other lay leaders within the parish. Download a recent sermon, add someone to our prayer list, or find an article from a recent newsletter.

And please send us your opinion on what would make this site even better than it is. This is a new step for us, and we want this site to serve people in the most meaningful ways possible.
